Description of Works
Delta Roofing was engaged to complete the insulation remediation scope to Kelmscott SHS Undercover Area.
The scope was to remove and retain the existing 1200m2 of roof and 800m2 of wall sheeting and then remove the existing redundant skylight’s, safety mesh and 60mm anticon. Supply and installation of new safety mesh, shade cloth, skylights, 130mm Anticon with 115mm Roof razor system inclusive of the reinstatement of the existing roofing with new fasteners was completed.
Delta’s project delivery team worked with the client & builder to engineer a solution for the wall remediation due to the roof razor design limitations in a vertical cladding application. The cost neutral solution provided additional thermal rating to the walls with insulation batts installed between purlins to compliment the layer of anticon, wire and shade cloth specified to be installed.
